Value of Face Time

As a team, we collectively recognize the true ‘value of facetime’ is fundamental to the maintenance of our current broker relationships and development of new broker connections. With this mindset, our team capitalized on opportunities this summer to get out, enjoy the weather, and spend some quality time with our brokers.

From hitting the high seas and ‘reeling-in’ excellent conversations at our Annual Fishing Charter to enjoying the ‘carefreeze slopes’ during the Denver Ski Trip, we had a wonderful time recognizing the hard work and loyalty of our valued broker relationships nationwide. In addition, we also attended several industry conferences including RIMS 2023 Annual Conference, PIA Annual Convention and Target Markets Mid-Year meeting.

Not only do we place a high emphasis on building our broker connections, but we also value strengthening our internal employee relations with team bonding events. As an opportunity to celebrate all the great we have achieved throughout the past 15 years, we recently hosted our largest in-person team bonding event of the year at our Environmental Division Offsite Meeting.

Bringing together members from our various office locations, the collaborative event served as both an informative meeting and team bonding experience, allowing us to reflect, reconnect, and refocus on the goals and opportunities ahead.

Recently, Kevin Rega, Production Underwriting Supervisor, was named a Break Out Insurance Leader by Business Insurance! Business Insurance’s Break Out Award recognizes the next generation leaders in the risk management and property and casualty insurance fields. Kevin was one of forty recipients across the United States who have exemplified strong leadership and professional skills in their fields. Great American Environmental Division

Eric McCabe serves as Divisional Senior Vice President and National Underwriting Director for Great American’s Environmental Division. In his role, he oversees underwriting operations for all lines of insurance products. His background involves extensive legal counseling as well as complex commercial and defense litigation practices. Along with accumulated over 20 years working within the insurance field, Eric a Juris Doctorate from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is based out of our New York, NY office.
