Broker/Agent Opportunity: Customized Training For You and Your Team!
As an insurance broker or agent working within an ever-changing industry, it is important to stay informed on trends where coverage opportunities may follow. In response, Great American Environmental is continuously seeking ways to provide great resources and educational opportunities to brokers.
We are pleased to announce the extension of our Broker/Agent Custom Webinar Series in 2023!
In addition to providing insight on our educational tools and latest products and program offers, we have in-house expertise to provide comprehensive learning opportunities on regulations, emerging contaminants, and risk specific environmental topics for brokers to gain industry-wide knowledge. This past year, we had the opportunity to collaborate with two broker groups to provide customized learning solutions.
Maritime Environmental Topics Webinar
Our team of experts including Kirk Davenport, Gregory Kelder and Paul Scian provided an informational webinar to brokers specializing in maritime risks. Webinar topics included climate change, environmental regulations pertaining to maritime operations, common pollution policy characteristics and information on how our TankAssure® program can be a great insurance solution for storage tank operators. To supplement this webinar, Great American was proud to offer additional resources for these brokers to use including a new Ocean Marine Riskopolis and a regulations resource page.
The Clean Water Act Turns 50: In-person and Virtual Panel
Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act (CWA), Great American Environmental specialists Heather Boyd and Gregory Kelder joined with environmental remediation and litigation experts to host a virtual panel discussion on the history of the CWA and its implications on regulations, climate change, and citizen suits. With the CWA essentially affecting every industry, Heather discussed how Great American Environmental offers a variety of policies and programs to help mitigate environmental risks. What's new in 2023?
Great American Environmental understands it can be difficult to find applicable marketing resources to educate your clients on the ever-changing industry risks and their coverage needs. The Broker Toolkit was developed as a one-stop shop for access to all the educational tools and resources needed in successfully marketing environmental insurance to clients.
Each quarter, be sure to check out the Toolkit Tip section to discover our newest resources added to the Broker Toolkit!
Explore our latest product video titled Understanding Contracting Services Environmental Policies. From building community structures to paving the roads that we drive across each day, a variety of contractors are responsible for constructing and maintaining the safety of our civil infrastructures. With this responsibility also comes inherent risk, as there are pollution exposures present in contracting services across all industries. While some other lines of insurance offer protection for certain types of professional and pollution related issues, many exclude them completely. Such policies leave your contracting clients to fend for themselves. Watch how Great American Environmental can help!
