To swing into fall, brokers and underwriters alike hit the greens at Great American’s annual Northeast Golf Outing. This annual cross marketing event was held to celebrate broker relationships across the Northeast. Playing at the wooded Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT, our underwriters, Heather Boyd, Rich Viglianese, and Scott Tardif spent the afternoon networking with brokers and participating in friendly competitions.

Following the golf outing, our team had the opportunity to ‘catch’ up with brokers at our annual fishing charter in Port Jefferson, NY. After a beautiful day at sea, everyone on board not only reeled in sea bass and porgies, but also some excellent conversations.

Due to the success of our annual Port Jefferson fishing charter, we decided to take our rods and bait across state lines to New Jersey! Our team casted away with brokers and consultants on the Keyport Princess in the beautiful New York Harbor off the coast of Keyport, NJ. The voyage brought great catches – including striped sea bass – and wonderful discussions. 

To reconnect with brokers local to the Atlanta area, BobbiAnn Murphy, Erin Mitton and Allie Kaltenbach represented the Division at a happy hour event at the New Realm Brewing Company. The night was packed with plenty of tasty hors d’oeuvres, refreshing cocktails, and enjoyable conversation. 

In honor of the relocation of our New York office, we hosted a happy hour to celebrate! The event was held on the 36th floor of our office building, providing stunning city views and a catered spread of hors d’oeuvers and refreshing cocktails. Over the course of the event, spirits were high and the office was packed with excitement as divison members and brokers enjoyed mingling after a long hiatus from face-to-face events.
