ClaimsXchange was formed as a means to connect innovative and collaborative claims and insurance professionals. The organization plans to host multiple educational and networking events as they continue to break ground in the industry and gain additional members. 

With this in mind, our team was thrilled to speak at the inaugural conference and take part in an invigorating panel that discussed numerous topics that were ‘ripped from the headlines’ and are currently plaguing the insurance industry, specifically regarding environmental claims. The presentation was broken up into two categories, emerging contaminants and regulatory trends. The discussion on emerging contaminants ranged from truly emerging contaminants such as microplastics, Ethylene Oxide and 1,4-Dioxane to more familiar chemicals like PFAS, Glyphosate (Roundup) and mold.  

When it came to regulatory trends, the panel had the opportunity to talk about environmental justice, social inflation, climate change and citizen suits.  These trends were hot topics and well received by the audience. 

Our team was honored to have the opportunity to participate at such an impactful conference. We look forward to attending future environmental insurance industry events!
