Kirk Davenport and Rick Ringenwald had the opportunity to attend the 2022 WSIA Annual Marketplace in San Diego, CA. The Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) holds this conference annually, gathering more than 5,000 industry professionals to network and attend business meetings.

Kirk was invited to speak on a well attended carrier panel hosted by a top environmental wholesaler detailing Great American Environmental’s products, programs and service capabilities. Highlights from the panel included two of Great American Environmental’s popular policies and program opportunities, Premises and TankAssure®.

Our Premises policy covers bodily injury, property damage, legal expenses and clean-up costs resulting from pollution conditions associated with a covered location on a claims-made basis. It also covers an insured’s pollution liability arising from non-owned disposal sites, transportation of products or wastes, business interruption, contingent business interruption, biological hazards and incidental contracting services.

Additionally, our TankAssure Pollution Program is an extremely user-friendly online quoting and binding program for your clients’ storage tank insurance needs. Over the course of the conference, our team received very positive feedback on Great American’s engaging marketing materials and high quality service provided to brokers and insureds. The brokers that our team were able to meet with extensively complimented Great American underwriting team’s creativity, communication and professionalism. 

This conference, hosted by The International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) is an annual event to provide educational sessions, networking opportunities and certification training to the construction risk and contracting services industries.

Session topics covered trends in the construction risk industry, strategic ways to mitigate risks at construction sites, workers compensation issues and detailed examinations of commercial general liability policies. Our team spent the conference meeting one-on-one with our brokers at breakfasts, dinners and at conference networking areas, discussing our available Contracting Services policies.

Overall, this conference gave Great American Environmental a valuable opportunity to meet with a handful of our construction and contracting services brokers and receive direct feedback about our policies. Great American Environmental is grateful for the opportunity to extensively network at industry conferences in 2022.
